Ryan Barry Appointed to Connecticut Council of Bar Presidents for 2020-2021

Ryan Barry Appointed to Connecticut Council of Bar Presidents for 2020-2021Barry, Taylor & Levesque, LLC is proud to announce that partner Ryan P. Barry has been appointed to the Connecticut Council of Bar Presidents for the 2020-2021 term. The Council acts as a liaison between the Connecticut Bar Association (CBA) and local, county, and specialty bar associations, offering a “forum for the exchange of ideas, activities, and information.” The Council also aims to promote and improve the justice system in Connecticut by supporting legislation that benefits the people, “to advance the leadership of the organized bar in matters of public importance in the state; [and] to promote the standing of the legal profession and its practitioners in local communities.”

Mr. Barry is a member CBA and has served the organization in various capacities in his 20-year legal career. He has previously served on the Council of Presidents. He is also a James W. Cooper Fellow of the invitation-only Connecticut Bar Foundation, a 2020 Super Lawyer, and a former member of the Connecticut House of Representatives (2003-2011).
